YouTube LogoYouTube is a place where thousands of people are able to post their own family videos, favorite songs, and pictures for to share with family and friends. Now Google and YouTube are changing things up in hopes that they can improve their revenue. They will accomplish this by streaming full-length television programs.

They have already made a deal with CBS where they will be able to stream shows like “The Young and the Restless”, “Dexter”, and “90210”. YouTube stated this week that they are in talks with other partners – but they would not say anymore on that subject.

YouTube and Google will use this to sell commercial slots for ads that will air before, during, and after the episodes. At this time CBS is the only network to sign on to the project and will be the only ones to sell ads. They will be giving You Tube a share of the profits.
