Vacation points, also called vacation international points club(VIP) can be spent in many different ways. First, you can spend them to stay at your “home” vacation club resort. Second, you can also spend vacation points at other locations that may be more interesting to you.
The accommodations and point “costs” vary at each vacation club resort that you choose. Third, you can spend your points to stay at one of several other resorts that are located in the area that you are staying in. A fourth alternative is to stay at a member resort of Intervals International, an international time-share swapping organization.
The number of points it “costs” to “rent” a room at any resorts that you choose will vary. Of course, the actual type of accommodation you reserve will affect the point cost. A three-bedroom villa will certainly require a lot more points than a studio, for example. The time of year of your reservation has a great impact on the point costs, too.
It is much less “expensive”, in terms of points, to rent a room in the Fall than it is during Christmas week, when most people are already there. Last, the day of the week affects point costs, also. Friday and Saturday nights are always substantially more costly than weekday nights.
Points are a great thing to use when you are wanting to travel in a large group. Many small businesses like to treat their employees to a vacation that they would enjoy and one that they could include their family in. When they use the points system they will have an easier time planning it. It’s a great way to spend your leisure time VIP vacation.
