This week the long awaited ‘Star Ward: The Force Unleashed’ was released on several gaming consoles and the iPhone. IPhone users have the ability to purchase the game for $9.99 and download it from the Apple Store.
The game allows you to play the role of the secret apprentice to Darth Vader. In the game Vader sends you out on a quest where to destroy the last remaining remnant of the Jedi force. The timeline of the game is set between the events in the Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope – the movies.
Your name is “Starkiller” and because you are Vader’s apprentice this makes you a powerful Sith – but you are still in training. You will use your lightsaber as well as your many dark powers to crush the people around you.
‘Star Ward: The Force Unleashed’ for the iPhone uses 3D graphics and gameplay that uses the touch screen interface built into the phone. You make gestures using your finger that are then translated into actions within the game. You can use gestures to invoke Grip, Lighting, Jedi Mind Trick and other powers.
