Downandup Virus PopupWindows security is having a hard time keeping up with fixing customer’s computers that have been infected by a worm called the Downandup, Downadup, Kido!, and the Conficker. It is believed that this virus is being uploaded onto computers through infected USB drives.

The virus will trick people into running it by modifying the “autorun” that works with the drive. It is important for people to look closely at the options available for you to open it. You will see two options available that will “Open folder to view files”. The first one that pops up “Open folder to view files published by Microsoft Windows” is fake and will install the virus onto your computer. When the virus is installed it will spread in a matter of seconds.

iPhoneThere are millions of iPhone applications and that number is about to go up. Apple has recently begun to allow Web browser applications. There are many small, browser applications that were let into the Apple store.

They aren’t quite popular right now and they slipped in almost under the radar. They include the Edge Browser, Webmate, Shaking Web, and Incognito. They are used to make Web sites easier for people to read.

In the past Apple would never consider using third party browser for their store. After all that is what their Safari browser is for and why the phones comes with it pre-installed. They said that other browsers were not allowed because they were “duplicating functionality.”
