Arctic IceResearchers believe that the Northwest Passage will once again be free of any ice. This will be the second year that this has occurred and it worries scientists that the amount of ice in the Arctic has decreased dramatically in such a short time. Last September is when they first began to worry due to the fact that Arctic ice pack had been smaller then it has been in close to 30 years.

This year the ice has already claimed the title of second smallest ice pack with three weeks of its melting season left to go. Mark Serreze of the National Snow and Data Center in Boulder, Colorado stated that usually around this time is when the melting would start to slow down.

Steve JobsThe technology world was shocked when an obituary for Steve Jobs - Apple CEO - was published Wednesday and made its way across the world. Along with the obituary was a list of his accomplishments and the great work that he has done with Apple.

We are happy to report that the rumors concerning his death are false. Bloomberg News wanted to have a bit of fun except for the fact that they were not actually supposed to publish the obit. Someone forgot to mark the story for “hold, not for release”.

Pandora RadioThe Pandora radio is a great way to listen to music on the web - but not for very long if things don’t start to look up for the service. According to reports the radio service may be shutting down because of the dramatic increase in royalty fees.

Pandora has become relevant in the Apple world since the release of their iPhone music application called Pandora Radio. The free application allows users to tune into personalized streaming radio stations based on their favorite artists, songs, or classical composers.
