Watch out iPhone because Research In Motion’s (RIM) BlackBerry 8820 is coming! It seems that the iPhone won’t be the only new phone with the capability of WiFi networks. But that isn’t all the tricks that it has. It also provides the owner with wireless voice, making it easier for people to talk. RIM president and co-CEO Mike Lazaridis said the attention Apple Inc. So far it has been the year for updated cellphones, cellphones that have more capabilities then your normal run of the mill phones. But now it is time for the laptops to come on top and show just how much they can improve and how much more powerful and faster they can become. And it will start with Intel.
Intel has extended its top of the line processing power to the mobile space with the launch of its Core 2 Extreme Mobile processor, the X7800. This 2.6-GHz part marks a 200 MHz increase over Intel’s previous Core 2 Due mobile high, the 2.4-GHz Core 2 Duo T7700, which debuted in May along with Intel’s “Santa Rosa” Centrino platform. The core microarchitecture is the same, however.
There are many people who choose to keep their life private. Of course it is very hard to do this because whenever you apply for a job they perform employment background checks. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act employers must give their employees notice before they perform background checks.
This issue was brought up recently when a coalition of privacy, labor, and civil-liberty advocates filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. They requested that the agency investigate railroad and other transportation employers for not giving them any warning before performing the background checks.
