eDram Test ChipTo understand the quest to build faster and more powerful computers, it’s helpful to understand the problems that hold them back from getting faster. While chips themselves are getting faster all the time, faster is still a relative term. Even though chipmakers like Intel and IBM are building more powerful chips every 12 to 18 months, other chips that go inside a computer haven’t historically kept up in the performance race.

Barcode LabelA barcode is a machine-readable representation of information in a visual format on a surface. Originally barcodes were made to store data in the widths and spacings of printed parallel lines, but today they also come in patterns of dots, concentric circles, and hidden within images.

Barcodes security labels can be read by optical scanners called barcode readers or scanned from an image by special software. Barcodes are commonly used to implement Auto ID Data Capture (AIDC) systems that improve the speed and accuracy of computer data entry.
